MOSCOW, Oct 5 (PRIME) -- Russian President Vladimir Putin has appointed CEO of nuclear power corporation Rosatom Sergei Kiriyenko as the first deputy head of the presidential administration, the Kremlin said in a statement on Wednesday.
Putin also dismissed the current First Deputy Head Vyacheslav Volodin from the position.
“In accordance with the established procedures, in the absence of a general director, his duties are performed by First Executive Deputy Alexander Lokshin,” a Rosatom spokesman said. “This is what is happening today. Alexander Markovich Lokshin has been commissioned to carry out real-time administration of the nuclear industry until publication of a presidential decree on appointment of a new CEO.”
